Darrell Dake - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Moody

Recommended Posts

I was a big fan of Iowa stock car driver Darrell Dake. Darrell passed away in 2007. He was one of the most popular stock car drivers in the Midwest during the 1950s-1980s. He raced in the 1960 and 1961 Daytona 500s. I have developed a tribute page to Darrell Dake on my website at www.randylewis.org. This section of my website have nearly 100 photos of him from the beginning until the end of his career.

If you would like to see this tribute, please click on www.randylewis.org, then select the "Darrell Dake - in memory" tab. It is amazing how many emails, phone calls and letters I receive regarding Darrell. He was a very popular racer and general nice guy. If you have any comments, photos or videos you would like to share to make my tribute to Darrell even more complete don't hesitate to contact me at ranlay@yahoo.com.

Thanks.
