Directions to the Harker Heights VFW from several locations: VFW Post #3892 201 VFW Drive, Harker Heights, TX Phone: 254-699-7139 Drive Careful! Directions to the VFW from the Austin Area: Take I-35 North towards Temple. Go past Salado, take Exit 293A (Killeen/Fort Hood Exit TX 317) stay in the left lane, at the stop sign, make a left (West Hwy 190), stay in the left hand lane, make a left under the second overpass, you will see the Killeen/Ft Hood signs, stay in the left hand lane and continue straight, merge onto W Hwy 190 (entrance to Hwy 190 will be right after the overpass on your left), continue West on Hwy 190 for approx 9.8 miles, you will take Veterans Memorial Blvd/Nola Ruth Street Exit, get into the far right lane, continue on approx .05 miles, you’ll pass Action Plaza on your right, then you will see the Ultimate Sports Club also on your right, VFW Drive joins the Ultimate Sports Club parking lot, take a right and you are there. Parking in the rear. Directions to the VFW from the Lampasas/Copperas Cove Areas: Take East Hwy 190 toward Killeen, you will go through Killeen and into Harker Heights. Take the Veterans Memorial Blvd/Nola Ruth Street Exit, stay in the left hand lane, go to the stop sign, make a left, go to the second stop sign and make another left, get into the far right lane, continue on approx .05 miles, you’ll pass Action Plaza on your right, then you will see the Ultimate Sports Club also on your right, VFW Drive adjoins the Ultimate Sports Club parking lot, take a right and you are there.
