NeilTPS Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 TPS Invites Area Mini Stocks First race - April 11 – at Thunderhill Raceway The Texas Pro Sedans have invited Corpus Christi Speedway, Red River Speedway and Thunderhill Raceway four cylinder mini stock cars to participate in designated 2009 season TPS races. The CCS, RRS and THR mini stock cars will be accepted, as is, provided they are in compliance with their 2009 rules. They will be allowed specified optional rules upgrade exceptions and must comply with paragraphs 4 thru 8 below. Invited cars may: 1. Optionally mount TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires or use the DOT tires they ordinarily use. 2. Optionally change to after-market suspension parts. 3. Optionally lock drive wheels. 4. Must use rear view mirror(s). 5. Must remove external door nerf bars. 6. Must be equipped with scanner to receive official TPS messages on VHF channel 154.570 MHz. 7. May not exceed 96db in compliance with THR rules. 8. Register for at least a one race TPS membership and pay event entry fee.
