Well with the season just over half way is there any insite on what the future holds for THR? Let me state that this is just a question and I'm by no means trying to start any rumors. Mary Ann has said several times since the beginnng of the year that she currently has no intention of shutting down next year. At the same time, it's not completely up to her to "get it done" so to speak. We all need to do our part to keep the place open. So far, 2008 has looked pretty good, in my estimation. HiTech Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 the races are going great as i see it .fans are comeing out from what i see .,more then what i have seen in the past ..hope they are makeing enough to open next year ..and the land owner wont put it out of reach .. we love this track even though it is three hours away the staff has done a great job in these tough times ..besides with the sun god helping out this year .i know it has tobe better for them .. More accurate way to say it is I hope they aren't loosing so much that they can still continue next year. The work they put in is appreciated and they are friendly. That sounds pretty positive to me. It looks like we are getting more fans each week. This year has been great and I look forward to next year. This year has been great and I look forward to next year. no rain ..that has helped alot .more poeple staying around instead of traveling ..cheaper to go to the races ..need to take advantage of that .. Are you working on getting us a special section in the grandstands for the crowd that is sure to follow.
