‘Cowtown Showdown’ pits region’s top ASCS vs. Cowtown Speedway sprint drivers on June 28

6/23/08. Kennedale, TX, by DarinShort.com.

Who will reign supreme at Saturday night’s running of the Cowtown Showdown at Cowtown Speedway? Will it be an ASCS sprint hot shoe, or one of the strong contingent of Cowtown Speedway area sprint car drivers?

We’ll all find out when the ASCS Sprint Cars return to town and will take on the best of Cowtown Speedway when both groups converge atop the ultra-fast high banks of Cowtown Speedway on Saturday night, June 28.

The first two ASCS events of 2008 at Cowtown Speedway provided fans with wild action and huge fields of cars from throughout the region. D/FW area sprint driver standout Travis Rilat picked up the April victory; with versatile Oklahoma transplant Gary Taylor (formerly of Washington state) picking up the May victory.

Adult tickets are still just $15, and advance tickets can be purchased on the track website, www.CowtownSpeedway.com – and there is no added convenience charge to use your credit card for online purchase.

Joining the ASCS division will be the Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks, Bombers, Jr. Bombers plus the popular Winged 600’s.

With hot laps around 6:30pm and the first green flag scheduled to drop at 7pm for the fast-paced show; make your plans now to be a part of the Cowtown Shootout at the Fastest Lil’ Dirt Track In Texas – Cowtown Speedway, in Kennedale.
