Penalties just handed out:

 

Robbie Reiser and Kenny Francis were suspended for four races each

Fined $50k each

Teams docked 50 car owner points

Driver docked 50 driver points

 

Evernham’s other two crew chiefs, Rodney Childers (Scott Riggs) and Josh Browne (Elliott Sadler) were suspended for two races

Fined $25,000

Penalties of 25 owner & driver points each for violations before qualifying

 

No action announced regarding Michael Waltrip's pre-qualifying intake manifold "mystery" substance which was found inside of the intake manifold.

 

Guess NASCAR is serious huh? ---

THEY HAVENT FOUND ANYTHING ON JR,S CARS YET .NOT ANYTHING THEY WILL TELL ABOULT .HOW MANY TIMES DID HIS DAD GET CAUGHT .NONE THAT I CAN REMEMBER ....... EITHER THEY ARE DARN GOOD AT HIDEING STUFF .OR EVERY ONE NEEDS TO CHANGE THIER NAMES TO EARNHART .LOL. RERMEMBER GORDON COULD DO NO WRONG FOR YEARS . SOME TEAMS JUST KNOW HOW TO GET AWAY WITH IT BETTER THAN OTHERS .BUT YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE PURTY STUPID TO THINK YOU COULD GET AWAY WITH HOLES ... AND SLIME OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN YOUR INTAKE ......BUT I WILL GIVE THEM AN [ E ] FOR EFFORT .WHATS A few thousand dollars anyway .

Mikey's not out yet .. seems he's taking one of Jarrett's backup cars and "reskinning" it (that what the news source said) with the number 32. He "absorbed" the Cal Wells team (and car #32) and the top 35 owner points and will try to race it in the Gatorade Duels and thereby qualify for the 500. At least that's the rumor......
