ProTree Posted December 19, 2006 Report Share Posted December 19, 2006 At the PRI Trade Show in Oralando last week,IHRA Top Fuel Dragster owner/drivers Doug Foley and Bobby Lagana signed a deal with Rich Christensen and his "Pinks" Show to have a Top Fuel Race with the Winner taking home the others Nitro Dragster.The race date has not been set but should take place around mid-summer at a track to be announced. ProTree Posted December 21, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2006 From what I've heard,the winner will sell the losers car on E-BAY.They say it's going to be done over a 2 day period to handle the rebuilds and to allow for track prep.Foley said he's doing it for sponsor exposure which is already going crazy and Lagana said he doesnt have a major sponsor and has raced on limited funds for years, so it's win or go home for the season,no other choice,no money.I can vouch for Lagana,he had to work(labor) for Clay Millican at the several races just to pay for the rear wing on his car till he paid it off.
