>Final Day of 2003 WCS was a great one. A small crowd

>was on hand for some of the best racing the southwest

>has seen in a long time. We all froze due to the COLD

>COLD wind! It never let up, but once the racing began,

>we all seemed to forget about it for the moment. 29

>modifieds took to the track for the final day of the

>2003 Winter Cup Series. Heat races were won by Bumper

>Jones, John Carney, Jr., Rett Salopek, and Anton

>Salopek. The 16 car B-Main was won by Richard Johnson

>out of Los Lunas, NM followed closely by Jimmy Ray

>(Las Cruces) and Butch Reid (Albuquerque). John Hansen

>#8h from Fort Morgan, Colorado pulled in to the pits

>just in time to unload and tag the back of the B-Main.
