It seems yall think he is god, he can be beat and its been proven. All this arguing and there won't be any Thunder car racing. Like the old luch said just put up with the bs and race for fun. thumper Posted February 2, 2006 Report Share Posted February 2, 2006 You guys make me feel like THE OLD POOP from the Cycletoons comic magazine from years ago.I bet nobody is old enough to remember it.Fact is most of the year I was behind the Neon.Whenever he got in front of me I could not keep up.I had to drive super hard to be in front through traffic to be ahead after clearing traffic.When he was ahead,he won. Same with the 21 and the 46.I crashed several times to accomplish this.I almost gave up but I was not going to show it.Sometimes its about heart.If I was racing me I would not let an old over the hill, half blind old fart in a 20 year old technologey dinasaur intimidate me.I would find a way to beat him and would not give up till I did.Like Pappy said,my times limited so hurry up or Ill be gone.BTW Pappy,your younger than me so does that make me Grandpappy? Paul Newman didn't start racing until he was 66 & quit last year at 80 so maybe we have more time than I thought. BTW, I'm a grand pappy too but you can use it if you want. You have my permission. bountyhunter Posted February 3, 2006 Report Share Posted February 3, 2006 i dont know if it matters much but i think a name change for thunders would be a boost to our class.... texas thunders just doesnt seem to cut it. i like the name frankie senior come up with (think it was him) and i think it was texas modified mini stock..... cause no matter what we call any racing class its not a stock class. stock refurs to it rolling off the show room floor straight to the track with no mods at all. now thats what stock is. from any racing ive seen thier is no such thing as a stock class. so adding modified or limited modified to our class seems to give a little(well u guessed it)CLASS. besides what does thunder have to do with our class we dont sound like thunder we sound like weedeaters maybe it should be texas limited modified weedeaters lol just my thoughts that dont mean a hell of alot but when some one ask what class i race in i would rather say texas modified mini stock instead of texas thunders........................
