  1. shout out

Have to give the track a shout out ..when you can run four wide off turn two in purestocks and every one made it through that said something about the track being right on the money .the track surface was spot on .all through the night ..hope it wasn't just a lucky one time chance . but maybe not the crew has been good at it lately . a surface that can fool you if your car all of a sudden handled great .the 7 stuck like glue .the 8 m came on after adjustments in the feature .. the finish didnt show it after the rear end was moved to the left side .from a spinning car ..and a break system we didnt build broke on the 7 .no breaks ..those tires in turn three did a good job slowing the car down .
  2. thanks from Raymond

  3. Thank you USMTS , Shady Oaks Speedway and the Stacy family for saving and bringing this event to us.What was done by them and others behind the scenes was nothing short of a miracle in 8 days time. The fans that attended were treated to some of the best racing, including the sportmods, that has been seen around here. And to think it almost didn't happen. That would had been a shame.Todd Staley says the success of USMTS is in the quality of its drivers. And he is dead on.Three and sometimes four wide in the turns with barely touching each other if at all.The picture that Jamie put up on the Shady Oaks thread shows it.All that at speed and control on little 8" tires! I'd like to see asphalt guys do that!In the last two events ,Holloween Havoc and USMTS, Shady Oaks and the Stacy family have shown thet are ready to take the next step of becoming a major player in South Texas racing and beyond. Now it is time to get geared up for the South Texas Promotions event at Shady Oaks, another winning event for the fans in this area! I am convinced , dirt is for racing and asphalt is for getting there! Thanks again to ALL involved for a great three nights.
