  1. 09/14/2019 Cade Dillard "The Thriller" was the $3,500 Late Model feature winner at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track Cade Dillard, No. 97, was the SDS Late Model feature winner. By Don Cook Blogginisracin.com Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track (Fort Worth) September 13 (Friday) They say everything is bigger in Texas! This weekend, at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track, over 400 race teams are competing in the Southern Dirt Track Championship presented by Smiley’s Racing Products! Friday the 13th was Night 1 of racing for three classes of cars attempting to qualify for Saturday’s feature races. The three classes of cars included the Modifieds, Limited Modifieds and the Factory Stocks! Also on Friday’s racing program were the Lucas Oil COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Late Models and the 305 Sprint Cars, who ran a complete program with $3,500 going to the Late Model feature winner and $1,000 going to the Sprint Car feature winner. Night 2 of racing at the Southern Dirt Track Championship continues Saturday, September 14, with last chance qualifiers and Champions Crowned in all classes! The SDS Late Models will be running for $5,000 to win and the Sprint Cars will be running for $1,250 to win! Check out the racing action from Friday’s exciting show below: Late Model $3,500 Feature Winner: Cade Dillard, No. 97, was your feature winner! Payton Looney, No. 15, was second, Colton Horner, No. 56jr, was third, John Whittington, No. 5w, was fourth and Timothy Culp, No. c8, was fifth. Jesse Stovall, Hunter Rasdon, Brian Rickman, Patrik Daniel, and B.J. Robinson, rounded out your top ten. Twenty-two cars started the feature. There were forty-two Late Models in the pits. Morgan Bagley, No. 14, had a strong start, but settled for twelfth. Chad Wilson, No. 20, was second, and Kevin Ramey, No. 7m, was third. Twenty-five Sprints started the feature. Chad Wilson Motorsports had a solid second place finish. By Don Cook Blogginisracin.com Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm, Mott, TX) July 12 (Friday) Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, hosted the Melling Performance Race Weekends Across America - MDA Muscling in the Dirt event! The featured class this week was the return of the 360 c.i. Winged Sprint Car Bandits (SCB). Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, made it two HOT Sprint Car Bandits feature wins this season! Along with the Sprints, were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below: Sprint Car Bandits Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, celebrated his birthday this week by picking up his second Sprint Car Bandits feature win of the season at Heart O Texas Speedway! Claud Estes III, No. 74e, had a solid second, Jeff Emerson, No. 35, settled for third, Jeremy Jones, No. 5j, was fourth and Daniel Estes, No. 72, was fifth. Blake Mallory, Junior Jenkins, Reagan Reed, Micah Baccus, and Kodey Keimig, rounded out the top ten. Dale Wester, Dalton Stevens, Colby Estes, William Eggimann, Scott Evans, Mark Zoeller, rounded out the field. Seventeen cars started the feature. By Don Cook Blogginisracin.com Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm, Mott, TX) June 28 (Friday) The Texas Wing Modified Association returned to Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! Along with the Wing Modifieds, were all the weekly classes including the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Don’t forget, next Friday, July 5, Heart O Texas Speedway will host their Annual Fireworks Show that features the $1,000 to win IMCA Modifieds plus a full racing program! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below: Modified Feature Winner: Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, picked up his first IMCA Modified feature win of the season! William Gould, No. 60, had a solid second, Kevin Green, No. 5, was third, David Goode Jr., No. 7g, was fourth and Jerad Herring, No. 1h, was fifth. Eric Tomlinson, Dwayne Grantham, Derek Scott Jr., Cody Daniel, and Adam James, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature. William Gould passed the leader several times only to have a yellow come out. William ended up second. Dwayne Grantham, No. 27g, and his impressive IMCA Modified. By Don Cook Blogginisracin.com Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm, Mott, TX) June 14 (Friday) Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, got the Fathers Day weekend off to a fast start with the Nolan Wren Memorial featuring the $2,000 to win 360 c.i. Winged ASCS Lone Star Region Sprint Cars! Along with the ASCS Sprint Cars, were all the weekly classes that included the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Also during intermission, the race fans enjoyed the Hoosier Daddy Tire Throwing contest. Check out the racing coverage below: Sprint Feature Winner: Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, got past Clad Estes III, No. 74e, nine laps into the 25-lap, $2,000 to win feature and held off Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, for the exciting feature win!
