Live, Interactive Updates from Houston Motorsports Park presented by Central Texas Speedway, 6/8/2013

June 5, 2013

Lone Star Speedzone’s Nick Holt will be at Houston Motorsports Park this Saturday, June 8, 2013, to bring you Live, Interactive Updates presented by Central Texas Speedway from the nicely-maintained 3/8-mile asphalt oval.

“Half Price NASCAR Night” will boast double features for the EcoStocks, NASCAR Stock Cars, NASCAR BWFS Coke Trucks and the NASCAR Fiesta Modifieds.

Capacity or near capacity crowds have been the rule so far this season at HMP, so you will want to get to the track in plenty of time to stake our your favorite spot in the grandstands. $1 hot dogs, $1 cokes and $1 beer await race fans who want to have an inexpensive - but totally exciting - family night out.

If you can’t make it to the track, join me for the live updates. You will be able to make comments and ask questions during the blog, but please be patient if you don’t see your post right away. Nick will be firing up the interactive blogging software at 5:30 pm and the racing will take the green flag at 6:00 pm.

May 22, 2013

Lone Star Speedzone’s Nick Holt will be at Houston Motorsports Park this Saturday, May 25, 2013, to bring you Live, Interactive Updates presented by Central Texas Speedway from the popular 3/8-mile stock car track.

The “Fiesta Fast Blast” will feature heat races and feature events for the EcoStocks, NASCAR Stock Cars, NASCAR BWFS Coke Trucks and the NASCAR Fiesta Modifieds as well as feature events for the Bandoleros and Legends.

Nick will be firing up the interactive blogging software at 5:30 pm and the racing will take the green flag at 6:00 pm.

Bad weather forced the track to call off the last two NASCAR stock car racing events, so you can bet all the drivers will be raring to mix it up after more than a month off.

Capacity or near capacity crowds have been the rule so far this season at HMP, so you will want to get to the track in plenty of time to stake our your favorite spot in the grandstands. $1 hot dogs, $1 cokes and $1 beer await race fans and $5 tickets available at any Fiesta store makes for a very cost-effective way to enjoy a family night out.

But if you can’t make it to the track, join me for the live updates. You will be able to make comments and ask questions during the blog, but please be patient if you don’t see your post right away.
