  1. Mini Sprints

www.emsaracing.com is the Houston based group and schedules races, which is non-wing mostly each year from Alvin all the way up to Fort Worth. Heart of Texas Speedway in Waco usually schedules around six to eight races at this track and it is most wing. Fort Worth runs both wing and non-wing. Mountain Creek in Grand Praire runs mostly wing. Cottonbowl might be too big of a track as far as safety issue of the drivers. I thought about coming out there and hot lapping but didnt want to pay a pit pass for only ten laps at the most. I'm sure if a race would be scheduled here at CBS there would be around 20 cars that would show up from the north and south area since it is in the middle of the state and being on a Saturday is a plus.
  2. Moody Clary speedway in Navasota

I'm making sure everybody knows where my dad was Nolan Wren. He is to the right of Bill White, without the glasses. The big guy right beside him is Jerry Aylor.
  3. Please join us if you can for the first annual "Nolan Wren Memorial" at Gator Motorplex in Willis Texas. I have attached a link that give you some information about the race, a short biography of "The Man Himself", a photo gallery of some racing photos both old and current, and overall the racer himself. It also shows how you can add additional sponsorship to the event. If you have any questions feel free to reply here and we will do our best to answer them as quickly as possible. Thanks, Troy Wren http://nolanwrenmemorialrace.com/

  6. Thanks for the kind words and I remember the blue number 4 car even though I wasnt born. I will try and post a picture of it on here in a day or so. Thanks, Troy Wren
  7. Frankie and Clifford Carter are still in Iola, Bubba is around there somewhere as well. I believe Pappy Yargo has passed and of course Pappy's grand son and I was just talking about Jimmy this last weekend. Frankie and Clifford follow their nephew Will around the Houston area track between Battleground to Willis. Talented young driver. If anyone has some pictures of dad. I would love to see them and you can email them to me at twren@tamu.edu. I will also post them on here if you want me to. Mr. CorcoranSuperMod can I ask what car you drove against dad? Thanks everyone for the kind words.
  8. Dad's last race with me at Waco. Dirtdobber5B may I ask where and what car you drove?
  9. Start Time for Saturday

I appreciate all of your help about the track. I especially like the smooth part because the mini sprints are rough when you bounce around. See ya'll Saturday.
  10. Start Time for Saturday

Thanks. Has the track been drying out since it has been hot this summer? It stayed semi heavy but it could have been because we were the second or third feature and it was around March or April.
  11. Start Time for Saturday

I have not been there in a while and was wondering the start time for the races at I-37?
  12. Joe Dagostino Jr.

This is Troy Wren and we are at dad's house reading these posts and seen pictures of Moody and Clary and his father in the stand. Joe Jr. wants to tell everybody hi and he enjoyed looking at the pictures from the past. Mark dad wants make sure everybody knows he is doing well from his triple by-pass and he needs a twelve pack of Miller Lite. Send it by Robert. Make sure you ge the right kind lol. He will have to havwe another by-pass if you get it wrong.
  13. First Class Track

I saw him in turns one and two and hit the gas to get out of his way. Unfortunately he hit the side of my car and flipped. The main thing was that he was ok and no hard feelings at all just hard racing from everyone. Do you know of anybody videoing that particular race?
  14. First Class Track

To the staff at I-37 Speedway. I want to say this was the first time for me to race on your track in my mini sprint and it was top of the line fast. I will be back to race there again in the future. Keep up the good work and best of luck during the season. Thanks, #44W Mini Sprint
  15. ANY PICS FROM SAT
