A sixteen car field took to the track for the LoneStar Legacy main event at Houston Motorsports Park last Saturday. The legacy class race was action packed with a good mix of rookie drivers and veteran drivers.

Yeah, Lone Star Legacy is way off. 1- 57, 2-21, 3-54, 4-23, 5-5, 6-48, im not sure past 6th, It was a really good Legacy race🏁

Legacy race was full of action! I thought the 148 won the race? Was there a dq after the race?

10 Legacy cars competed in a 20 lap, all green race at HMP to start the 2023 season!

It was a great night for racing, weather was perfect. It was good to see so many cars in the pits. Good field of cars in the Lone Star Legacy class!

A lot of fond memories of Clarence, he used to work as a mechanic at my dad’s shop when I was young.

I will be there, getting travel plans put together now. Can’t wait!

Merry Christmas to you all from Germany

This is very sad news indeed. Texas racing community will not see another like Neil Upchurch any time soon. I first met Neil in 1974 and most of my racing experiences since then have been influenced by this great man. I spoke to him on the phone last week and I’m glad I did. Thank you Neil Upchurch for all you contributed to racing in Texas.

Kinda hard for me right now😆 im still stuck in Germany 😕

I was in Italy on a 2week Med Cruise when the virus hit hard. We got back to Germany in time for lockdown. I cancelled my flight to SA when racing at HMP & TMS got cancelled. So we are hunkered down in our little village outside Frankfurt. Not much excitement but at least we have fast internet. Nobody in our little ghost town is sick. All the super markets are well stocked. Just waiting till it’s over.
