All Results are Unofficial and commentary is based on my observations from the stands and I have no contact with track officials during the event.

  2. Late Model Feature concluded the action and although the track held up very well, it had begun slicking off slightly for the bigger, more powerful Late Models and the front of this field was stacked. Young Late Model hot shoe Beau Begnaud, who already has wins at South Texas Race Ranch,  led the field to green alongside Kody Hardage. Second row had some familiar foes but in a different class with Steve Whiteaker Jr and Broc Bowen,  Marcus Mikulencak and Dean Abbey behind them. Despite the talent in the field, this race got off to a choppy start. Early caution came out as Bowen and Abbey diving hard into 3 and eventually collected Whiteaker but Whiteaker would avoid major damage and refire and get his spot back as Bowen was sent to the rear and he elected to retire. Once things settled out, Begnaud held an early lead but Whiteaker wasn't far behind biding his time. Hardage had a good run going but lost it in 1-2 and Doyon didn't have time to react and hit him head on. Both drivers were ok but cars were not. Whiteaker would claim the lead and take the checkers followed by Begnaud and Jared Maupin a solid 3 in one of his first times in a Late Model.

  3. Sorry for posting late but with over 50 races planned and ran last night, the races lasted longer than my battery. Micro Mod Feature seemed the last place you wanted to be was in the lead. Gilbert Perez III dominated the first half of the race and had a full straightaway lead until something let go and he cruised to a stop in 1-2. Michael Lindsey inherited the lead and looked poise to take the victory but his car had a mechanical failure exiting 4 coming to the white flag. Bill Six successfully completed the final two circuits and claimed his first victory in the Micro Mods.
