I know Duffin's Engine Service from San Antonio has been involved in running a C4 Vette at Bonneville for years, all I could find online where thumbnail pics but needless to say (for anyone thats had work done by them) its a clean car.

There are several area entries at Bonneville.

One I know very well is Gordon Leland's Car that has been totally rebuilt this past year and is sporting a new Randy Dorton engine.
The crew for the rebuild includes Car Chief Johnny Melendrez, Jake Dallenbach, George Hagy, Jimmy Magnusson, and Big John spent several nights before relocating to Houston.
I spent some time over there; they are a great bunch, and the craftsmanship is something to see.

They are there right now for speed week. You can look on line and see how they do every day. Everyone that like racing should go there one time. The history of racing at the Salt Flats is really cool.
