Texas Timing Association presents the "Texas State Championships"

This is the 2nd annual revival of the famous Texas State Championships race that ran at various Texas dragstrips from 1955-1967.

This year we will have the largest number of historic drag cars in attendance. This is also the season finale for many Texas drag race circuits.

There will be a Traditional Hot Rod & Custom Car Show put on by the Kreatures Car Club of Austin, TX. This will include Pre-64 traditionally styled hot rods and customs. 1972 is the cut-off date for all car show entries, we encourage all Pre-1972 custom cars, trucks, street rods, gassers, etc. This doesn't mean we don't like the modern stuff, but this is a NOSTALGIA event, and we'd like to keep the show within that era.

There will be an Auto Parts Swap Meet put on by the Rebels Race Team of San Antonio. Automotive parts only. Bring your parts to sell, or get yourself a smokin deal on those parts you need.

There will be live music, a vendor midway, a nitro cacklefest with vintage dragsters.

Come meet your favorite Texas Drag Racing Legens in person! They will all be there to participate in the action and tell us how it was done in the golden era of drag racing.
