Umscheid Race Services Live, Interactive Updates from Thunderhill Raceway, 6/18/2011

June 16, 2011

Umscheid Race Services and Lone Star Speedzone will be providing live, interactive, lap-by-lap coverage of all the NASCAR short track racing action at Thunderhill Raceway this Saturday starting at 6 p.m.

There’s always a nice breeze on the hill at Thunderhill, so come on out and enjoy all the sights, sounds and excitement in person. And in case you weren’t aware, the food by Bailey’s Burgers is really great and very reasonably priced.

But if you just can’t make it to the track, I’ll do my best to bring you lap-by-lap coverage right here.

You are always welcome to post comments and ask questions, but there will be a delay in seeing your posts. That’s because I have to manually approve all posts before they are displayed, so please be patient since sometimes I’m pretty busy just keeping up with the racing!

Umscheid Race Services Live, Interactive Updates from Houston Motorsports Park, 6/11/2011

June 10, 2011

Can the “Zak Attack” keep winning? Will someone claim the $4K (plus the $1K 1st place money) bounty bonus?

You really should be at Houston Motorsports Park for this one, but if you just can’t make it, I will do my best to bring you the lap-by-lap racing action as it unfolds at the 3/8-mile oval.

Yes, you can ask questions. Yes, you can make comments. But there will be a delay in seeing your posts because I have to manually approve each one and sometimes I just can’t get to the comments when I’m actually trying to do the play-by-play.

I do my best to bring you lap-by-lap coverage of the entire racing program, but nothing ever takes the place of being at the track in person. Especially since all the NASCAR Fiesta Modifieds will be gunning for a $3,000 bounty offered to anyone who can beat Zak Hausler fair and square. Hausler has won every Modified feature at the immaculate HMP oval this season.

Umscheid Race Services Live, Interactive Updates from Thunderhill Raceway, 5/21/2011

May 18, 2011

Thanks to Umscheid Race Services, I will be at Thunderhill Raceway this Saturday, May 21, to bring you lap-by-lap coverage of all the NASCAR sanctioned stock car racing action from the famed, 3/8-mile, d-shaped oval in Kyle, Texas.

The new “second grove” was just beginning to come in when it got “oiled down” when an engine blew right on top of the top lane in turn one and through the middle of that turn. Wouldn’t surprise me if more teams try the upper groove this weekend.

I invite your comments and questions, but there will be a delay in seeing your post because I have to approve all posts before they become visible to our viewers.

I should be firing up the CoverItLive blogging software around 5:00 p.m. To part of the Umscheid Race Services updates, click the icon below.

Umscheid Race Services Live Interactive Updates from Thunderhill Raceway, 5/7/2011

May 6, 2011

Umscheid Race Services will be bringing you live, interactive updates from Thunderhill Raceway this Saturday, May 7, 2011.

THR has coated the high groove with VP Lane Choice 7 Track Adhesive which should make for some very competitive racing on a track surface that has traditionally been viewed as a “one groove track.”

The only folks who should be joining me as I bring you lap-by-lap coverage are those who absolutely can not make it out to THR. If you are in the Middle East, in the hospital, going to your prom, etc., well, OK. But the rest will not want to miss this one in person.

Your comments and questions are always welcome, but remember that I have to approve all posts, so there may be a delay in seeing your post since I might be pretty busy at the time.

I will be firing up the CoverItLive interactive software around 5:00 P.M. To get started, just click on the icon below.
